History: ES8175 is Canadian Ford V8. Originally this was a freight bus with a large boot for parcels and other goods at the rear. used to service communties east of Masterton. When increasing car ownership in the rural population made this service unprofitable it went to Bicknells of Kahuatara near Featherston as a school bus. The V8 engine from ES8175 was used in the restoration of Blue Bus Service number 8 and this bus now has a Ford 6cyl diesel engine. Hopefully one day a V8 engine will be found for it. Currently it is used as storage for the Tramways Museum Library
